Condoleezza Rice plays piano

When US Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, visited the UK in December 2008, she gave a concert in Buckingham Palace. It amazed many people. However, one day I met a person who also mentioned this event. He said: “It is not fair that someone can do everything while others can do nothing. Why didn’t God distribute the gifts equally to everyone?”

I was amused by what he said. He is a witty person and I had no words with which to argue with him but I laughed from my heart.

Actually, I feel that people who have more abilities bear a heavier burden than those who have fewer abilities, because the former must help the latter. Life is fair. If we were willing to help people and were happy to receive help from others, we would have a more peaceful mind.
